Weight Lifting
Caution: If you are new to weight lifting then please know, be safe and realistic when lifting your weights.
Weight Lifting is done all around the world, athletes, fighters, as a hobby etc
Weight lifting is done for two main obvious reasons, Sex Appeal, Strength. If you are a "Fighter" then you must know strength is deffinetly not your main priority yet it doesnt go a miss to keep your strength at a comftable height. (Quick Lesson: Technique will always over ride Strength)
When lifting try to vary your different lift techniques, what i mean by that is dont just bench press for example. If you stick to one way of lifting then you are weight lifting terribly wrong for you will end up with massive Biceps and no Triceps for example. Yet, you probably know that already.
Try to do atleast three weight workouts a week lasting around 40-60 minutes to keep and gain your muscle. Yet remember not to over do it because i have heard of people who have done just that and ripped a muscle.
How often should i increases my weights?
Change your weights to a comfy but strained weight, what i been by that is you should be able to do around 15-20 reps before needing to rest for a minute before going to the next set or exercise.
The reaosn you should increase your weights is because you are more or less wasting your time. (Not saying the lifting wont be beneficial, just slower)
Note: If you are weight lifting for "Contact Sport" reasons then please remember, TECHNIQUE over Strength.
