M M A Training
The MMA Training is circled around Strength and Cardio. Read on to find out how these exercises are carried out and how they will benefit you...
There are many workouts you can carry out, such as body weight exercises and circuit exercises.
All workouts are normally caried out in a Circular fashion (Circuit) Therefore before starting your Workout you should plan ahead in what exactly you will do after the exercise you are on at the time.
Body Weight Exercises
Body Weight Exercises more or less speak for them selves, you are using your body weight to create the exerecise. Classic Body Weight Exercises would be the Sit ups and Push Ups, yet there are other common body weight exercises such as Pull Ups etc.
There are a varied amount of known body weight exercises but i find you can create your own, whatever works. I mean if you try a certain body position or whatever it may be and you feel a certain muscle burning / straining then you know it is benefitting you in that area of the body.
How can you fit body weight exercises into your mma workout? When doing you workout or drill, whatever it may be. For example, say for arguments sake your chosen workout circuit is Run up a hill with a sand bag and then X amount of pressups before throwing the sand bag used before above your head and behind you continueslly until reaching the bottom of the hill. The bodyweight exercise fitted into the circuit easily with the classic Press ups.
Circuit Exercises
As i said earlier, most exercises are done in a circular fashion (circuit) therefore your adrenaline, pulse, motivation isnt likely to be lost before your next exercise.
What kind of exercises should i have in my Circuit Exercise?
Almost any exercise you can think of and are able to do in your chosen space or along your other chosen exercises.
Here is an example of a Circuit Training Drill...
30 star jumps,
30 sit ups,
30 pressups,
Run Up Hill,
20 Kettle Weight,
Run down Hill Carrying Sand bag,
